The agency explains a weak disturbance will bring about 5 mm (0.19 in) of freezing rain to southwestern Ontario beginning early Saturday morning.
Southwesterly winds are eventually expected to push the temperature higher, but Environment Canada warns that some areas could see several hours of freezing rain before temperatures rise above zero.
