Analyst says Canada will have over-supply of Cannabis by end of 2019

A research analyst based in the United States feels Canada will reach oversupply of legal pot as soon as the end of this year.

Tom Adams of B-D-S Analytics says it will depend on how the roll out of edibles and other next-generation products affects supply.

But he says given the ability of Canada's well-funded licensed producers to beef up capacity, everything points to lots of supply, and that could mean lower prices.

The Colorado-based firm forecasts that legal recreational and medical cannabis spending in Canada to grow almost tenfold to roughly 5.2 billion dollars US by 2024
