A big win for a Mildmay Holstein and her owners at the Royal Agriculture Winter Fair amongst competitors from across Canada and parts of the U.S.
Florbill Doorman Lilly won the Senior 2-year old Class at the Black and White National Holstein Show.
She is owned by Jeff and Dan Bross of FlorBill Farms in Mildmay.
But it did not stop there.
The 2-year old was also named Best Bred and owned in her class, best udder award, reserve intermediate champion and won top production cow of the show.
Dan Bross says it is exciting to breed an animal that can compete and she was a crowd favourite.
Bross adds it was a good Midwestern Ontario connection at an international event as Glen McNiel of Heather Holme Holsteins from Goderich sponsored the 2-year old class and Dave Johnson from Mapleview in Listowel presented the Best Bred Award on behalf of the Ontario Holstein Branch.
Florbill Doorman Lilly's win followed up on a milking senior yearling win in 2017.
