North American Cattlemen's Associations Hoping For No Changes To NAFTA

Canadian Cattlemen's Association President Dan Darling says he stands in unity with his American & Mexican counterparts in regards to the North American Free Trade Agreement, saying it's important the highest levels of government in all three countries understand the effect NAFTA has on the beef sector.

Darling says Cattlemen's Associations in Canada, USA & Mexico all signed a letter stating they hope NAFTA remains the way that it is for the beef sector, noting he hasn't heard what US President Donald Trump intends to change as far as the Canadian portion of agreement is concerned. Darling says he's confident the cattlemen's association will have the backing of the Canadian government in dealing with their concerns of impending NAFTA renegotiations.
