After an eight-month PED-free streak in Ontario pigs came to an end two weeks ago, Ontario pork has confirmed another case.
The confirmation from the organization came yesterday after a March 7th test proved positive.
Ontario Pork says the viral disease was detected in a finishing barn in Middlesex County.
The case is the 101st confirmed in the province since the start of 2014.
The previous positive test came from a finishing barn in nearby Haldimand-Norfolk County.
