The Ontario government wants to remind students that applications to its agriculture and livestock jobs is only open for another dozen days.
OMAFRA has various jobs available in the sector, including Ag Field Information Assistant, Ag Geomatics Assistant, Livestock Assistant, Veterinary Programs and Research Assistant, as well as Livestock Park Operations Assistant for Youth Programs.
The province feels the summer jobs will help Ontario students with limited work experience develop real transferable skills, while supporting their career goals.
The Summer Employment Opportunities are full-time, temporary positions, lasting from seven to 18 weeks between May and September.
