There's just one day left to apply to 4-H Ontario Ambassador program.
4-H Ontario says the program has given previous participants advanced training in leadership, communications, public relations and citizenship.
The goal is to have ambassadors use their past experiences in 4-H to recruit new members at various functions.
The six chosen applicants will attend 4-H and community events across the province.
Former 4-H Ontario Ambassador Tamara Hamilton says the experience showed her and the five others she travelled with just how much impact 4-H has on others and how it brings communities together.
4-H Ontario notes national and international opportunities may also come into play for ambassadors in the future.
Applicants must be current 4-H members between the ages of 17 and 21.
Those interested can go to 4-H Ontario's website, 4-hontario.ca.
