For the first time ever, the Canadian 4-H Dairy Classic was front and centre at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair as it took place in the Ring of Excellence.
While winners came from all across the country, Wellington County stood out as the strength of midwestern Ontario.
In the Intermediate Showmanship competition, Abbi Atkins of Wellington captured third place.
Third place in the Senior Showmanship circuit went to Travis Canning, who also hails from Wellington.
The Best Exhibit competition was judged on cleanliness, signage, overall display and interaction with the public.
At the end of the day, Abbi emerged at the top as she was the lucky winner of the showbox.
Organizers of the Canadian 4-H Dairy Classic say they'd like to credit senior members for their help this year assisting first-timers at the show.
