Clinton Farmer Finds Success In Royal's Dairy Show

The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair's dairy shows were dominated by Quebec and the Northern United States.

However, one Huron County Farmer broke through in the Jersey competition.

Paul Franken of Clinton won the Jersey Ontario Banner, the Australian Trophy and the Westlandyn Farms Banner for his mature cow.

His showing also earned Reserve Senior Champion Female, the Reserve Senior Champion Female Banner, and Reserve Grand Champion Female.

A cow from Wisconsin was named Grand Champion Jersey. Later in the day she was named the Royal's Supreme Champion for the second year in a row.
