Local auctioneers have the chance to show their talents at this year's International Plowing Match in Wellington County.
The second annual Auctioneers' Challenge takes place on September 23 and runs from 1:30 to 4pm at the CKNX Events Centre.
15 speedy speakers will compete for a thousand dollar first-place prize.
The competition consists of auctioning off a trio of items with the top tongues moving on to the next round.
Emails for entry to the contest can be sent to projects@plowingmatch.org.
There's a 50 dollar registration fee which does include a pair of passes to the match.
The deadline for entry into the Auctioneers' Challenge is September 1st.
