Ag More Than Ever Reaching Out To Consumers Wanting Food Info

Ag More Than Ever is a movement that features people involved in agriculture talking to non-farmers about why it is important.

Perry Wilson speaks about the movement on behalf of Farm Credit Canada.

He suggests more Canadian's than ever before admit they don't know much about where their food comes from but many still want to learn.

"Consumers want to hear from the producers," he says. "Having conversations with non-farming, family, friends, people in the community, it starts at a very small level but those are among the most impactful ways to get the word out."

Wilson says even though most people admit they don't know enough about where their food comes from, they say they want to learn more and that they trust local producers.
