A spokesman for Atwood Resources says their re-built plant is now processing all the dead stock they're getting.
The plant has been out-of-commission for over a year because of fires.
Tom Smith says the new facility allows them to do a better job of locking in their per-ton operating costs.
"The plant runs sheer on volume, so the more farmers that use the service it will be cheaper for everybody in the long run."
He estimates they're currently running about 20 per cent below the volume they were at before the fires.
Smith argues Atwood Resources is the safest and most environmentally friendly way to dispose of dead stock so he's anxious to see them become farmers first option for that service.
