Olymel has announced plans for a 10 million dollar expansion of it's primary processing plant in Quebec.
President and CEO Rejean Nadeau says the company will also soon be announcing another major investment at it's poultry further processing facility in Brampton.
Nadeau says the investments reflect what he calls the dynamism of the poultry sector.
Olymel describes itself as the number one poultry processing company in Canada, when measured by volume.
It employs almost 10 thousand people at facilities in Ontario, Quebec, Alberta, New Brunswick and Saskatchewan.
Almost a third of the poultry products Olymel produces are exported to over 65 countries around the world.
