The Ring of Excellence at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair has undergone some major renovations.
Those renovations will mean some changes to the Ring's schedule for this year's Royal.
The National Junior Beef Heifer Show will start things off on Friday, November 4th.
It will be followed by the Queen's Guineas and six beef breed shows - including the National Angus and National Charolais shows.
Dairy show days at the Royal start on Tuesday, November 8th, with the TD Canadian 4-H Dairy Classic and run through to Saturday, the 12th, with the National dairy breed shows and Sale of Stars.
The Fancy Bird and Rabbit and Cavy shows will close out the Ring of Excellence shows on Sunday, November 13th.
The National Holstein Show remains at the Ricoh Coliseum on the 11th.
Royal officials say the Ring of Excellence renovations were needed because the number of exhibitors and quality of their stock had stretched the event's capacity to accommodate all those who wanted to compete.
The renovations include premium show suites, full hospitality capabilities and more general seating.
State of the arg digital capabilities will enable live streaming to deliver livestock shows to a global audience.
Spokesman Peter Hohenadel says they believe the new ring and schedule moves the Royal closer to their goal of creating a best-in-class experience for exhibitors and the public.
