Total Receipts 2357 cattle & 1076 lambs & goats

Summary Tuesday Fed steers and heifers sold at prices $2-3 higher with right weight cattle trading actively. Choice strs and hfrs 158.00 – 162.00 sales to 164.00. Second cut 154.00 – 158.00. Cows sold steady Thursday Veal calves sold on a strong demand at higher prices. Lambs and goats sold higher while sheep sold steady. Friday Calves sold on an active trade with choice calves selling steady and second cut calves selling at lower prices. Yearlings sold on an easier market. Steers

John Martin of Lucknow consigned 2 steers that averaged 1425 lbs and sold for an average price of 155.70. One red steer weighed 1340 lbs and sold to Steven Thede for 161.00.

K/C Mcalpine Farms of Ailsa Craig consigned 6 cattle that averaged 1460 lbs and sold for an average price of 155.46. One char steer weighed 1335 lbs and sold to Norwich Packers for 158.00.

Heifers

Ron Smith of Denfield consigned 9 heifers that averaged 1371 lbs and sold for an average price of 159.41. One char heifer weighed 1445 lbs and sold to Ryding Regency for 164.00.

Lloyd Reid of Palmerston consigned 10 heifers that averaged 1506 lbs and sold for an average price of 154.87. One char heifer weighed 1495 lbs and sold to Ryding Regency for 163.00
