This year's London Swine Conference reports record numbers.
Last week's 2 day event had 400 registered for sow day and over 250 for the wean-to-finish program.
The London Swine Conference started in 2001.
It's a joint effort of the University of Guelph, Ontario Pork , the Ontario Pork Industry Council and OMAFRA.
The conference's main aim is to provide a forum for the exchange of credible , science-based information for decision makers and influencers in the pork industry.
It's also designed to encourage the exchange and adoption of knowledge for the betterment of the hog industry.
Conference proceedings are available on-line at www.londonswineconference.ca.
Organisers also hope to have a highlights page with photos and comments about the event on that site in the next few weeks.
