The Huron County Federation of Agriculture is celebrating its 75th anniversary with a gala at the Knight's of Columbus Hall in Goderich this Saturday.
Spokesperson Margaret Vincent explains the event will celebrate a strong past of agriculture and innovation in Huron.
She says it will also look to the future, which includes the 2017 International Plowing Match.
Vincent points out a lot of the issues the Federation is facing today are similar to the issues of 75 years ago.
That's when Huron County consisted of several townships that eventually amalgamated - just as the amalgamation that created the County Federation that exists today .
The Huron Federation of Agriculture 75th Gala is Saturday, April 9th at the Knight's of Columbus Centre in Goderich.
