National Award For Wellington County Ag Photographer

A Wellington County farm life photographer has raised the bar for her own work.

Sharon Grose of Alma was the winner of one of the gold medals at the recent Canadian Farm Writers Federation Awards Banquet in Calgary.

Her picture of the Girls at Miller's Dairy was named the top photo in the News Photography category.

The competition saw a total of 44 awards given out in 14 categories.

Grose can now add that gold medal to her previous silver and bronze medals in the competition - both won in 2013.

The Canadian Farm Writers Federation represents almost 350 English-speaking agricultural journalists, broadcaster and communicators from across Canada.
