The P5 Quota Committee is adding some incentive days for organic and DHA milk shippers.
DHA shippers are getting another 3 incentive days per month for February, March and April.
Organic shippers are getting an additional incentive day per month for March, April and May.
That means conventional milk shippers have one incentive day for February.
Organic shippers now have a total of 4 incentive days for each of February, March, April and May.
DHA producers now have 4 incentive days for February, 3 for March and April, and none for May.
The P5 quota committee says the added incentive days are a response to market demand for DHA and organic milk.
