Plans are in the works to double the capacity of an ethanol plant in Michigan.
The Albion plant is co-owned by The Andersons and Marathon Petroleum.
The Andersons is a co-owner of Thompsons, here in Ontario.
Company spokesman Pat Bowe says advancements in farm practices and technology continue to increase the size of Michigan's corn crop.
The added production capacity, according to Bowe, enables more ethanol to be produced and used in the state.
