Seven Midwestern Ontario clubs among the 47 in Ontario getting funding from Farm Credit Canada's 4-H Club Fund.
The fund is part of FCC's 1 million dollar contribution to 4-H over 4 years.
FCC's Todd Klink says they're working with 4-H Canada to ensure young people in rural Canada continue to benefit form 4-H programs and values.
4-H Canada's Shannon Benner says the funding supports the unique and valuable opportunities the organisation provides for it's members at the grassroots level.
The FCC 4-H Club Fund awards up to 500 dollars to local clubs for projects such as achievement days, field trips and the purchase of equipment.
The Milverton 4-H Beef Club, the Georgian 4-H Calf Club and the Ripley Curling Club are among this year's recipients.
Two Lucknow clubs - the Dairy Club and the Sheep Club - also got funding.
The Mildmay Dairy Club and the Meaford and St. Vincent Calf Club round out the Midwestern Ontario clubs sharing in this year's financial support.
