A Huron County couple are co-winners of this year's Outstanding Young Farmers of Canada award.
Mike and Amy Cronin of Bluevale share the award with Patrick and Cherylynn Bos of Alberta.
The award recognizes and celebrates Canada's agricultural entrepreneurs and leaders.
Although the Cronins both grew up on dairy farms, they're in the hog business now.
They run 17 thousand sows between several farms in Canada and the U-S.
They built the first crate-free farrowing system in North America in 2014.

Patrick and Cherylynn Bos operate a herd of 14 hundred dairy goats in Alberta and have their own cow and goat milk and cheese processing facility - Rock Ridge Dairy.
Canada's Outstanding Young Farmers' program is open to participants 18 to 39 years of age who are making the majority of their income from on-farm sources.
