Another sure sign the end of the year is near - the 2016 Milk Calendar is coming out this weekend.

This year's version includes 19 new recipes featuring 100 per cent Canadian milk.

Those recipes include breakfast foods, dinner ideas and desserts.

The calendar is being distributed free in local daily newspapers.

The website milkcalendar.ca has a full list of the newspapers involved.

17 thousand copies are also being distributed Saturday at Toronto's Kensington and St. Lawrence Markets and at Union Station on November 23rd.

The 2016 Milk Calendar is presented by Dairy Farmers of Canada.
