USDA Now Expecting Smaller U-S Corn, Wheat and Soybean Stocks

The USDA has cut it's projected U-S ending stocks for wheat, corn and soybeans.

The department says 2015-16 ending wheat stocks will be 14 million bushels lower than in it's September report, with lower production more than offsetting a decline in total use.

U-S ending corn stocks have been reduced by 31 million bushels from last month.

And the USDA says soybean ending stocks for 2015-16 will now be 25 million bushels lower than in it's September report.

The department has narrowed it's 2014-15 U-S season-average farm price for wheat by 10 cents on both ends to from 4.75 to 5.25 a bushel.

It's 2015-16 season average corn price is now 5 cents higher at from 3.50 to 4.10 a bushel.

And the USDA's 2015-16 average price is projected to be between 8.40 to 9.90.
