Canada's Outdoor Farm Show is aimed at commercial farm families who make the bulk of their income from agriculture and farming.
President Doug Wagner says they encourage farmers to bring the whole family to the annual event.
"We certainly encourage our farmers to come as family and that includes the seniors, the middles and the kids. It doesn't seem to take very long for the kids to finish college and be home farming."
Wagner says they added an extra street to the exhibitor area of the show a few years and it was filled almost immediately. He says their permanent site allows them to have more permanent structures for exhibitors and a lot of in-field demonstrations.
But Wagner adds the mobile app they tried for the show last year didn't get a lot of use.
"We have reformatted it so it is a little bit simpler and easy to see so we're hoping to drive any activity to our website and that's where the information is anyway. And hopefully it will be up and running and it will help people using their smart phones to navigate through the show."
Canada's Outdoor Farm Show runs from today until the 17 at Canada's Outdoor Park near Woodstock.
