Total Receipts 1524 cattle & 776 lambs & goats

Summary Tuesday Fed steers and heifers sold $2-3 lower. Choice strs and hfrs 186.00 – 190.00 sales to 190.50 Second cut 182.00 – 186.00. Cows sold barely steady. Thursday Beef calves sold steady while Holsteins sold $2-5 higher than last week. Light lambs sold steady with heavy lambs selling slightly higher. Sheep sold on a good active trade at slightly higher prices, while goats sold steady. Friday Calves sold on an active trade at barely steady prices & yearlings sold actively at fully steady prices. Tobias Sherk of Wellesley consigned 8 steers that averaged 1554 lbs and sold for an average price of 188.66. Two sim steers averaged 1503 lbs and sold to Clark Bros Livestock for 190.50.

Isaiah H Bauman of Wellesley consigned 7 steers that averaged 1526 lbs and sold for an average price of 189.87. Four limo steers averaged 1555 lbs and sold to Cargill Meat Solutions for an average price of 190.50

Heifers

Darren Johnston Farms Ltd of Bluevale consigned 33 heifers that averaged 1458 lbs and sold for an average price of 186.97. One black heifer weighed 1335 lbs and sold to Clark Bros Livestock for 190.00

Lloyd Reid of Palmerston consigned 17 heifers that averaged 1372 lbs and sold for an average price of 187.82. Nine black heifers averaged 1429 lbs and sold to Clark Bros Livestock for 188.75.

Guilles Boucher of Val Gagne consigned one sim bull that weighed 2045 lbs and sold for 167.00.

Veal There were 95 head of veal on offer
