Brian McGavin of Walton and Carman Weppler of Clifford are representing Ontario in the conventional category.
Bob Campsall of Oshawa and Daryl Hostrawser of East Garafraxa are in the reversible category.
Brian's son, Brandon, is plowing for Alberta.
It's a return to the national competition for Weppler, who earned his right to represent Canada at this year's world competition in Sweden in last year's event.
The top conventional and rollover plowmen at this year's nationals will represent their country at next year's worlds in England.
For McGavin, it's a return to competitive plowing after taking a number of years off to coach his son.
While he's looking forward to the father-son rivalry, Brian admits he's hoping he didn't teach Brandon too much already.
The Canadian Plowing Championships run from August 27th to the 29th at Wolfe Island, near Kingston.
