Celebrating 100 Years Of 4-H In Ontario Book Out Soon

4-H Ontario has changed a lot over the years.

A new book - Celebrating A Century Of 4-H In Ontario - tries to show the development and growth of the organisation over it's 100 years.

Lois James is one of the volunteers who've been involved in putting the book together.

She says it includes a lot of statistics and names of those who've been involved in the organisation over the years.

James says it also includes the stories of 21 families from across the province talking about their involvement in 4-H over multiple generations.

Those stories try to capture what 4-H has given to young people in Ontario in development and skills and the contribution they are now making to society because of the program.

The new book is expected to be available on-line through the publisher - Friesen Press - by the end of this month.
