The Ontario Agricultural College is losing it's dean.
Rob Gordon is leaving the OAC job to become vice-president of research at Wilfred Laurier University in Waterloo.
University of Guelph President Franco Vaccarino says Gordon helped grow OAC's reputation for agri-food innovation.
He's also credited with developing excellent working relationships at the University and with the agri-food sector, government and industry partners and alumni.
Gordon graduated from the University of Guelph with a PhD in 1996.
He started as OAC dean in 2008, coming from the Nova Scotia Agricultural College and was re-appointed for a five-year term in June of 2013.
