Ontario's Avian Influenza outbreak has had a major impact on this year's Poultry Health Day.
The event was moved from June to later this month.
And the agenda changed from a general health update to one focused on Avian Influenza.
Even with the A-I focus, however, the event will also touch on a number of other topics - including antimicrobial use trends and future directions.
Spokesperson Laura Bowers says they'll also have a presentation that looks at all the costs of disease on the farm, not just the obvious ones.
The Poultry Health Day is put on by the Poultry Industry Council and Zoetis.
This year's event is August 21st at the Arden Park Hotel in Stratford.
More details and registration information is on the Poultry Industry Council's website.
