Total Receipts 1652 cattle & 661 lambs & goats

Summary Tuesday Fed steers and heifers sold on a good trade at easier prices. Choice strs and hfrs 189.00 – 193.00 sales to 196.00. Second cut 186.00 – 189.00. Cows sold on a good active trade at prices $2-3 higher. Thursday Veal sold on a mixed demand. Good Holstein calves were up $2-5, beef calves sold strong at steady prices while heavy Holsteins sold easier. Light lambs sold steady on a very active market while heavy lambs were slightly easier. Sheep sold on a strong active market while goats sold strong and steady. Friday A good offering of quality calves & yearlings sold on a strong active trade at higher prices.

Steers Brian Berg of Gadshill consigned 3 steers that averaged 1550 lbs and sold for an average price of 191.73. One limo steer weighed 1575 lbs and sold to Clark Brothers Livestock for 194.00.

Joseph Bearinger of Palmerston consigned 2 steers that averaged 1610 lbs and sold for an average price of 188.99. One char steer weighed 1590 lbs and sold to St Helens Meat Packers for 190.00.

Heifers M-R Farms of Exeter consigned 38 heifers that averaged 1384 lbs and sold for an average price of 192.35. One blk heifer weighed 1315 lbs and sold to Butch Clare Livestock for 196.00

Greg Hackett of Lucknow consigned 7 heifers that averaged 1364 lbs and sold for an average price of 189.58. One limo heifer weighed 1390 lbs and sold to St Helens Meat Packers for 195.50 Cows There were 247 cows on offer
