Total Receipts 1164 cattle & 503 lambs & goats

Summary Tuesday Fed steers and heifers sold on a good demand at easier prices. Choice strs and hfrs 190.00 – 194.00 sales to 195.50. Second cut 187.00 – 190.00. Cows sold steady. Thursday Beef veal calves sold on a steady market while Holsteins sold barely steady. Lambs and sheep sold actively at higher prices while goats sold steady. Friday All cattle sold on a strong active trade with calves selling steady and yearlings selling $2-3 higher.

Steers Southlore Farms Inc of Palmerston consigned 12 cattle that averaged 1340 lbs and sold for an average price of 185.90. One rwf steer weighed 1470 lbs and sold to Clark Brothers Livestock for 193.50

Glen Bieman of Ayton consigned 3 cattle that averaged 1457 lbs and sold for an average price of 191.98. One bwf steer weighed 1415 lbs and sold to St Helens Meat Packers for 193.00.

Heifers Owen Chaffe of Mitchell consigned 3 heifers that averaged 1527 lbs and sold for an average price of 195.35. Two black heifers averaged 1583 lbs and sold to St Helens Meat Packers for an average price of 195.50.

Inglis Farms of Clifford consigned 6 heifers that averaged 1357 lbs and sold for an average price of 191.10. One bwf heifer weighed 1365 lbs and sold to Clark Brothers Livestock for 194.00 Cows There were 195 cows on offer
