Total Receipts 1622 cattle & 659 lambs & goats

Summary Tuesday Fed steers and heifers sold under pressure. Choice strs and hfrs 192.00 – 195.00 sales to 201.50. Second cut 189.00 – 192.00. Cows sold on a good active trade at fully steady prices. Thursday Veal calves sold on a strong demand at prices $2-$5 higher. Lambs, sheep and goats all sold higher. Friday All cattle sold on a strong active trade with calves selling steady and yearlings selling $3-5 higher.

Steers Leonard Black of Proton Station consigned 12 steers that averaged 1438 lbs and sold for an average price of 193.90. Three grey steers averaged 1415 lbs and sold to Norwich Packers for an average price of 195.75.

John VanLoo of Bluevale consigned 5 cattle that averaged 1565 lbs and sold for an average price of 192.47. Two gold steers averaged 1565 lbs and sold to Cargill Meat Solutions for an average price of 195.50.

Heifers Larry Reinhart Sr of Mildmay consigned 4 heifers that averaged 1340 lbs and sold for an average price of 195.28. One limo heifer weighed 1420 lbs and sold to Norwich Packers for an average price of 196.50.

Tom Hern of Woodham consigned 3 heifers that averaged 1222 lbs and sold for an average price of 191.54. One limo heifer weighed 1265 lbs and sold to Norwich Packers for 193.50. Cows There were 215 cows on offer
