Dr. Temple Grandin Speaking At Farm & Food Care Fundraiser

Doctor Temple Grandin is coming to Guelph.

The noted animal behaviorist and professor of animal science at Colorado State University is speaking at a fundraiser for Farm & Food Care Canada.

Doctor Grandin has developed humane livestock handling systems and has worked as a consultant to the livestock handling industry on animal care standards.

Time Magazine named her one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2010.

The fundraiser on August 27th starts with a talk by Doctor Grandin at 7 p.m., followed by a question and answer period, then a reception.

It's at the University of Guelph's War Memorial Hall.

Tickets are 50 dollars each - or 30 dollars for students.
