Total Canadian hog slaughter for the week ending July 11th was up 3 point 7 per cent from a year ago.
The Ontario slaughter was up 16 point 2 per cent from the same week in 2014.
Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada says total Canadian hog slaughter so far this year is running almost 3 per cent higher than last year.
Ontario's slaughter so far this year is 2 point 4 per cent higher.
The volume of pork exports to the end of May is down just over 5 per cent from 2014.
The value of those exports is down just over 14 per cent from a year ago.
Live hog exports to the U-S up to July 4th are up just over 13 per cent from 2014.
