Canadian farmers have either planted or intend to plant more corn for grain, wheat, barley and oats this spring.
Statistics Canada says growers are cutting soybean and canola acreages.
National soybean acreage - at 5 point 4 million - is down 2 point 5 per cent from 2014.
Ontario's 2 point 9 million acres is down 4 point 6 per cent.
Canadian farmers reported planting 3 point 3 million acres of corn for grain, up 5 point 7 per cent from 2014.
Ontario's 2 point 2 million acres of corn for grain is up 9 point 6 per cent.
That corn acreage matches the province's 5 year average.
National wheat plantings are reported up 1 point 3 per cent from 2014.
Canadian canola plantings are expected to be down 2 point 4 per cent.
