Analyst: WASDE Numbers All Higher Than Expected

A DTN analyst says there were some surprises in this week's USDA World Supply and Demand Estimates report.

Todd Hultman says the report's estimates for 2015-16 ending stocks for wheat, corn and soybeans were all higher than expected.

The report expects global wheat stocks to be 203 point 32 million metric tonnes - up from 2014-15.

Global ending corn stocks are projected at 191.94 million metric tonnes - down from this year.

And the WASDE report calls for 96 point 22 million metric tonnes of global soybean stocks at the end of the 2015-16 crop year - up from this crop year.

According to Hultman - those estimates are bearish for corn, soybeans and wheat.
