Canadian grocery store giant Loblaw Companies Limited reported a 37 point 8 per cent increase in consolidated sales in the first quarter of 2015.
The companys ays it's retail segment sales were up 38 point 5 per cent.
That includes sales figures from Shoppers Drug Mart.
The deal acquiring Shoppers completed in the second quarter of last year.
Loblaw says it's food retail same-store sales posted a 4 per cent growth over the first quarter of 2014.
That excludes its gas bar growth of 1 point 2 per cent and a 0.8 per cent negative impact from a change in distribution model made by a tobacco supplier.
