The Young Cattlemen's Council has elected three at-large directors and one council member.
The council's mandate is to raise the knowledge and awareness of beef industry policy development among young people in the industry.
It plans to do that by giving those young people an opportunity for active involvement in that policy development.
The council had it's inaugural meeting last year.
It's linked to the Canadian Cattlemen's Association through the Cattlemen's Young Leaders program.
The new council members are joining current members who are continuing their two year terms.
Those current members include Ontario representative Warren Schneckenburger.
He's from Morrisburg in Eastern Ontario.
