COOL Appeal Disappoints Canadian Pork Council

The Chair of the Canadian Pork Council calls it justice delayed.

Jean-Guy Vincent says his organisation is disappointed the U-S has decided to appeal the WTO's COOL ruling.

He says American stalling and totally inadequate responses have already delayed enough.

Vincent argues the appeal negates the WTO requirement to conduct disputes in good faith.

The Canadian Pork Council says COOL increases costs and creates inefficiencies without improving consumer information.
