Eight people are in hospital after a collision involving a horse and buggy Sunday evening in Melancthon Township.
A mini van and the horse and buggy collided on County Road 9.
The eight passengers in the buggy were transported to hospital with unknown injuries.
Police said two horses escaped after the collision but were located and are safe in a local farmers barn.
Drivers were asked to avoid the area as police investigated.
Corn finished lower.
