Cause undetermined in vacant Windsor home fire

Windsor fire officials were on the scene of a vicious blaze east of downtown on Thursday night.

Few details are available, but Windsor Fire and Rescue crews were called to a vacant home on Wyandotte Street East near Pierre Avenue shortly after 10 p.m.

With the fire out of control, crews were in defensive mode, and adjoining buildings suffered some damage.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is undetermined, with no word on a damage estimate.
