Man dies after being found unresponsive in east London pool

London police are investigating the death of a man found unresponsive in an east-end swimming pool.

Officers responded to a call about a medical emergency at a home on Beatrice Street near Dundas and Clarke Road just after 9 a.m. on Tuesday. A man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Few other details about the incident have been released.

"The investigation has been reassigned to members of our major crime section and we are assisting the chief coroner at this time," police said in a statement.

The name and age of the deceased have not been disclosed.
